    Frick oil system

    Hi all, been a while
Need to put a saftey valve on Frick oil cooler
    150psi saftey should be okay?
PHE rated at 15bar working pressure but oil pressure should be around 3-4bar should it not?
Unlike the Howden oil pressure which needs to be about 3bar above discharge
    Does this all sound right?
    Cheers Paul.

Why do you need to fit one if there is not one fitted from new?

I think the safety valve is to protect an equipment or operation, right ? THen the best is to find out the maximum pressure the equipment can handle and set the safety valve accordingly to a much lower pressure.
