Saturation temperature
There is an industrial refrigeration installation with ammonia in a place where the altitude is 1000m above the sea level. The manometric pressure in the liquid separator 0,19MPa.
So all Refrigerants Thermophysical Properties Tables are in absolute pressures what´s the ammonia saturation temperature in this case?
Regards.

Re: Saturation temperature
Not sure why you need to convert as once system has ammonia in it and sealed up atmospheric pressure won't effect it in anyway ?
If you have absolute reading subtract 0.1 mpa for gauge reading .
ie atmospheric pressure at sea level + 101 kpa or 14.7 psi for absolute reading .
Maybe you can also adjust readout to gauge if you have a frick or similar control panel .

Re: Saturation temperature
Unless that's a differential gauge: Your atmospheric pressure will have nothing to do with the reading, or with the Sat Temp corresponding (As ranger staates). The answer i s Minus 20 C. is corresponding Sat Temp.

Re: Saturation temperature
Has nothing to do with altitude, the reference relates to absolute conditions as a standard.
