    Smile serve over chiller



    would like to know how to chang temperature setting on serve over display cabinet,buttons at left hand are arrow pointing upwards and arrow pointing downwards,at right arrow pointing straight right and snowflake symbol.Problem is drip tray at top is freezing solid then overflowing.Thanks

    Folco.
    sounds like the condensate drain is blocked, and if icing drain tray up, then set point on chiller is too cold.
    Does controller have a set button?.

    Hi Folco.
    Sounds like a re-badged Danfoss EKC controller, but then I could be wrong, quite often the case.
    Did you try and clear the condensate drain?.
    Did you check the web site suggested?.
    Try and hold both up and down arrows at same time for period of say 5 seconds, and what happens.

    yes,cleaned out drain hole.Will try holding both buttons,thanks for your help.PS bottom setting at 4 degrees,top at 6,is this ok?

    Hi Folco.
    sounds about right, could be a case that the controller relay has failed closed and keeping the unit cooling, hence freezing problem.
    I will see if I can find and send to you a set-up brochure. Can anyone else help with this, open question.

    does go off and into defrost mode then back on regularly
