    Frick oil leak

Had an oil leak on Frick 283 "O" ring load indicator rod .
Bit of a problem as oil & ammonia was leaking but no one knew about it until to late .

Oil & ammonia had only one way to go and thats in electrical comduit which runs back to quatum panel .

Quantum panel screen destroyed as all hazy can"t red it anymore .

Disconnected conduit gland on bottom of unload cylinder cover .

Seems a suspect set up as no oil drain or anything on this cover .

I can"t be the first thats this has happened too ?

No you are not the first. All the conduit laden compressor packages had this potential...yours was the simplistic solution.
Many of the packages now set up such that all final connections made via jacketed cable which means the cable and terminations suffer but the PCB's usually survive.
