tTX valves piped up wrong ?
Picture this ,
2 off evaporators in same room running off same system . Each has its own TX valve and distributor .
note has other units as well on this system .
Suction lines off each evaporator go back to common suction header .
Someone has piped up a hot gas defrost system to it as its a 0 deg C room
Common hot gas line with 1 solonoid feeding hot gas into each evaporator at same time between TX valve and distributor ( no non return valves on each unit of hot gas line ) .
Suction line of each evaporator has gas powered solonoid with hot gas pressure regulator piped around it.
The TX valves can't work properly can they ?

Re: tTX valves piped up wrong ?
ranger 1, this could be 1- a de-frost system
or 2- a way to down size the volume of cooling, will need more ifo

Re: tTX valves piped up wrong ?
Basically outlet of each tx valve has a pipe linking them together , so how can they control at all ?

Re: tTX valves piped up wrong ?
gday sedgy
its a common hot gas line which tees in after the expansion point thus balancing out feeds when refrigerating.thats the drift im getting.
hot gas defrost on rooms is another point for disaster latent heat off receiver is the better idea even if it did go out with the dinosaurs.

Re: tTX valves piped up wrong ?
Yes lowcool thats the way it is so I guess TX valves might get a bit mixed up on controlling .
Can't see much difference on R22 hot gas defrost though .
Has suction trap to cope with almost anything .
