Blocked filter...
Been doing a bit of work on the truck, she smokes a bit when cold and i decided to run some Redex and fresh diesel through to see if it cleared up. Left her running for a couple of hours with the throttle cable tied open for a fast idle.
Happened to look in the power steering fluid and found this....

still at least she doesn't smoke when warmed up now I have flushed it out with 50L of atf fluid, fingers crossed

Re: Blocked filter...
Its nice and clean now after we flushed it out but i'll keep an eye on it.
Not sure if it was due to condensation, water getting in through the vent hole in the cap or someone topping it up with water as the cooling header tank is on the back of the cab also.
