    Adding oil back after recovery

After recovering the charge from a 5 ton residential unit how much oil is removed? When I go to recharge with virgin R-22, should I be adding oil to replenish the oil in the refrigerant that is now in the recovery tank?

I would think that very little oil was removed unless you had an access port below the oil level.

Mind you, I could be wrong.
