Converting from air to water...
Does anyone in these forums have any seasoned intuition regarding or better yet, practical experience in changing out refrigerant-to-air heat exchangers for refrigerant-to-water heat exchangers?
I have noticed that the technology in inverter-type (continuously variable speed) mini-split heat pumps is really outstripping the technology in water-in-water-out heat pumps.
Seems that converting an inverter type air source heat pump to water source heat pump could yield significant efficiencies.
