is there the refrigeration formula for that?

    James,
In Air conditioning / Refrigeration while calulating the heat load for any room we should consider L X W X H (Length X Width X Height ). In your case what is height. Height always plays a effective roll in calculations. Only Length and Width is not sufficient.

    Also,
What is the room used for,are the people sitting ,dancing etc.
    Windows,size and glazing,curtains blinds etc.
Are there machines in the room, printers, copiers computers ,if so you need to find the wattage of them.
Is the room insulated, under trees or in full sun all day etc all these have great bearing on the heat load and the equipment you will need.

    Re: Refrigeration Capacity

i was checking out a unit for its cooling capacity.i saw 2500 watts on the evaporator.i have a conversion i create on my phone.1watt=3.41btus.
after converting i got 8525 btus.
the interesting thing is the lines are 1/2''&1/4.the sizes are too large for a 9000 btu unit.i want to know if that wattage is just for the evaporator only or my convertion is wrong.

    Re: Refrigeration Capacity

Depending on experience as rules of thumb use 12000 btu/h for 400 ft2 (37 m2) of floor space.

I know to install the air conditioner must be calculated the heat load in the room.
    but how is it calculated?
I want make sure if i use the coolpack software, it can reduce the heat load?
    please kindly advice regarding this
