apprentice info please!!

hey everyone just joined!!

ive just left school and looking for an apprenticeship, have applied for an apprentice transport refrigeration engineer and the companies sending me out an appliaction form.

about me- Am 18 have a full driving licence and have all the required grades including maths, english, double award science, technology and design and resistant materials etc

looking some general info into the job and what the entry tests will be like??? if i get that far lol

any info or tips would be great!

I take it you enjoy being covered in Red diesel and oil and crud then?

If i was yourself, i would consider going into commercial refrigeration. The transport sector is an ok industry. I found alot of people in the industry are very sneaky/two faced. I would recommend you pick a company with a dealership ideally with Carrier or Thermo king- that way you will get product training and build up knowledge of the most common units. Best of luck!!!
