Defrost scheme
Can anybody tell me what is the best method (least cost and most reliable!!) to defrost a water-to-air source heat pump? Thae heat pump is packaged and not split.
I know of one way to use a reversing valve; heat the frosted air coil (make it condenser) and then switch back to heating mode once the ice is melted.
Is there any other way (not electrical defrost) ?
