Efficient Tri-Generation Systems
Best Wishes from Germany!
Efficient Tri-Generation Systems
Double-effect/single-effect absorption chillers allow for a direct utilization of hot flue gases in
parallel to the conventional coupling to the hot water loop of co-generation systems. These innovative
tri-generation systems exhibit a 30% increase in COP and chilling capacity in comparison
to standard systems comprising single-effect chillers only. Two pilot plants are being
erected and analyzed with special regard to an innovative coupling scheme. For compact systems,
a flue gas driven regenerator is designed and tested for utilization in the upper stage of
the two-stage chiller.
German text, but u can als see a P&ID of the plant.
