    r410a bottle orafice size?

Has the orifice size been changed in the recent years on disposable bottles. I tried to connect my manifold to the bottle and the hose fits but will not bottom out and leaks at the bottle? Any info would be great.

yes the hose and manifold are in new shape and fit on any other cylinder I am from the maritime industry and we have never used disposable bottles and was wondering if they needed an adapter.

ARe you using an acme gauge set, or it the cylider fitted with an acme outlet?
Do you guys over there use 1/4" or 5/16" for R410a?
1/4" was the standard for all refrigerant bottles, access points and hoses up until R410a for us, R410 is a 5/16" fitting and gauge hose set.

Does your hose have the insert in to depress the screader valve?

If it does then that maybe interfering with the fitting if it does not let the hose tighten all the way up.
Like you said if the hole through the valve is too small it will stop the seal.
