    Freezer not cooling, chemical smell

Hello, I have a question about a fridge freezer. The fridge part is working fine. The freezer part is not cooling at all. When the problem first occurred, I noticed a yellow, oily liquid inside the freezer compartment, also very strong chemical smell. I have wiped up the liquid but the chemical smell is still very strong. It seems that the freezer was defrosted just before it stopped working, but not by me, so I can't say much about that. Please can someone tell me what the problem might be?

it sounds like you have two systems a fridge and a freezer, also you seam to have had a knife welding<mother < or< other < prising the frost off the freezer box= result lost gas out of the freezer, you need a domestic fridge man , do let us know how you went on
