Kenmore Coldspot 106.72104100
Hello all. I am new here & was wondering if anyone can help me with an issue I'm having. I have the Kenmore model mentioned above. Recently, the ice maker stopped making ice. After that we noticed that the fridge didn't seem to be cool & the freezer was sub-par. I vacuumed all the dust from the coils (located underneath), but that didn't really help. Both the fridge & freezer have been set on 5 (highest setting ) for over 24 hours since the cleaning, and the temp on the freezer is about 26 degrees and the fridge is about 48 degrees. The fan underneath the unit is running, as well as the fan from the freezer to the fridge. The fan in the freezer does turn on/off when I move the temp knob between 1 & 5, but it doesn't seem as though much cool air is going to the lower unit (fridge). Could this be a thermostat issue, or perhaps something else? any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Probably gas leak or compressor inefficient!
