    Email air - dn186h

    hi all,

ive got an email air - dn186h aircon which isnt heating. reading the error codes, the red light is flashing fast, green flashing slowly, and the error states this : F, C & H are 24v input signals

Can someone please let me know what that may mean, and possibly how i could resolve this issue??

Also if anyone has any web links or docs on how best to troubleshoot these particular units, would be greatly appreciated.

    Cheers

    G'day.

It should have a sticker or it will be written somewhere on the unit what the error codes are, unless someone has removed it.

Heatcraft can supply spares for that unit, try them they may be able to help.

thanks for the prompt reply temprite..

yeah looking at the sticker, the only answer to the error code on the sticker is:

    F, C & H are 24v input signals

    doesnt tell me anything else..

im pretty sure those units only fault out on safety circuit faults. so just loop out the safety circuits and see if the units starts.

The F C and H are only what the controller is sending to the condensing unit, so from what i can tell is its calling for fan, compressor and heat. So the board is getting its inputs but not sending out any outputs.

Also just a guess the board could be blown. But try the safety circuit 1st.
