leaking HC refrigerant in semihermetic compressor
Hi everybody!!
I have trouble with a semihermetic compressor (discus) that works with HC refrigerant and Polyalylenglycol. It has been reported that the refrigerant is leaked. Is it possible that sealings doesnŽt work due to the HC refrigerant or the mixture between refrigerant and lubricant?
IŽll really appreciate your answers
Thank you

Re: leaking HC refrigerant in semihermetic compressor
You need to check with your compressor manufacturer for the materials used in the gaskets and 0-rings. Then se if they are suitable fro use with your HC refrigerant and the PAG oil.
