is it a build up on one side of the cold plate or evenly across it?
have you checked the door seals?

what a peice of junk!!.......my daughters just stopped working....after much prodding with a meter it turns out the wiring between the stat and motor is open curcuit....the black wire from stat to compressor.
ok you might think...plug at top....plug at bottom...open it up and rewire...??..NOOOOOO.........the whole thing is built as a shell...wired and then injected with expanding foam......in reality this wiring fault = a new machine...its a writeoff....not repairable.
i have opened it up with a stanley knife and intend to rewire and refoam it....just 18 months old...junk...
