Refrigerant Handling
I am a qualified assesor and lecturer in refrigeration and am qualified to assess amongst other things City and Guilds 2079 safe handling of refrigerants and Citb equivalant. I am concerned that engineers are telling me that when recovering refrigerants that they are using manafacturers fill quantities that are stamped on cylinder bodies.
BSEN 308 2008 state that bottles must only be filled to 70% of this the old bsen378 was 60%. Recovery bottle suppliers are giving wrong advise if they state different. If you hold City and guilds 2078 or equivalent including 2079 you should already be aware of this.
please take care

It's better to keep your mouth shut and give the impression that you're stupid than to open it and remove all doubt.

There was a discussion on this forum regarding F-Gas questions which aren't correct or interpreted different ways. Are you ware of this.
