Aluminum welding - Evaporator
hi everyone i am looking for easy and good way to weld evaporators and pipes in refrigerators.

Hi there, if it's a wetplate evap (like in a domestic fridge) then there's a resin available off the shelf which you heat up and splodge on, works well if it's clean and accessible, eg knife wounds from diy defrosts. as for welding coils, you'll need the correct rods, i recommend gas welding but you'll need practice as aluminium doesn't turn red before dissolving into a blob, and coils are often tissue thin. many coils are copper under a aluminium fin affair, so you can just burn it off to gain access to the leak, every one's different so it's hard to be specific, good luck
