Regular Illness

Does anybody out there working on Air conditioning systems seem to get regular reoccuring illnesses?
I seem to get regular throat infections and flu and was wondering if it was work related?
Perhaps from filters or ducting?

Be very careful when handling air filters. Think were the air has come from that is passing through the filter.

Has it come from a contaminated source for example.

Is the filter in a simply wall mounted air conditioner? if so this doesn't make it any safer. A lot of the 'dust' you see could well be old human skin; makes you think doesn't it
