    Transparent heated windows

I've been looking into ITO (Indium Tin Oxide) coated glass for a decorative lighting application, and discovered that it is commonly used for heating glass-fronted freezer cabinets, and this may be a possible cheap-ish, or at least off-the-shelf, source.
However I've had no luck in finding what the typical resistivity of the coatings is for this application - if anyone can tell me the voltage & wattage rating of a panel of a specific size, I can work it out.
Also, what sort of money do these heated glass panels cost (e.g. as replacements) in the UK ?
I'd be grateful for any info or pointers to data, thanks.

Thanks - I've seen some of these places, but what I'm after is info on the characteristics of the ITO glass that's actually used in freezer cab doors, as these (replacement doors or from scrapped cabs) are a potential source of 'ready made' ITO panels for cheap low-volume/experimental use.

You will have to search it with Google.
I'm sure there is a lot of information out there.

Nice web site. I intend to check it out later.

I've spent at least 2 hours looking on the net and failed to find any concrete information on th epanels used for freezers. All I need is something like "panel x by y mm, rated z watts at 230V" to figure out if it would be suitable for what I want.

These are optical slides for lab use - I'm trying to find the characteristics of the glass used for freezer doors.

I dont think that any one will publish those details.

Is it possible to measure existing glass coating?

Get in touch with one of the manufacturers and try there.

Why would anyone not publish the size and wattage of their panels ?
Yes I could measure one if I had access to one, but I don't - I'm just trying to get an idea of the spec to see if it's worth investigating this avenue further....
