    AccuTools Leak Detectors ...

Does anyone have any field experience with the refrigerant leak detector from AccuTools? My boss passed the website on to me and asked me to order a few for our guys. Coredirectsales.com They have the lowest price i've ever seen for something thats not a knockoff. Any info would help, thanks.

Cheapness is not the way to choose tools with which you intend to make your living.

You would do much better spend some more money on a quality product, then you will have forgotten the purchase price long before you need to look for a replacment.

Heated diode or pentode detector principle in these instruments is obsolete and belonging to past. You should consider IR sensor leak detector which has better accuracy and sensitivity. Also these sensors has lifespan of 800 hour in comparison with 20-30 hour lifespan (with small leak density) of heated diode or pentode sensors.
