    Smile Help !!!



    Sorry im new to this so please be patient..

    Q.Calculate the nett content of refrigeration in the cylinder (in kg) and how much more can be safly added ,when its weight on the scales is 12kg and the tare weight of cylinder is 7.5g.

    if someone could help that would be great , also if you could show your workings that would be a big help , cheers.

    OK,
    I assume that you are serious...

    The "Tare" weight is the weight of the cylinder when it is empty.
    (12-7.5=4.5 Kg currently in the cylinder)

    How much the cylinder can safely contain is marked on the cylinder, no magic formula just plain text. Like [MAX FILL 9.5 Kg] for example if you are looking at a reclaim cylinder, otherwise there will be max weights for individual gasses stamped somewhere on the cylinder, normally on the collar that protect the valve.
