After starting when converting in delta the machine trip and on diplay status giving error star delat transit fault.after resting machine start agian after this process chiller agin trip what is the troublshooting point how to indentify the fault
and why phase sequence meter is used in chiller?
    thanks

    Re: York Chiller Fault

Screw compressors need right phase sequence, therefore all decent machines are provided with a relay that controls supply.
    Check:

    motor's windings' continuity,

    fuses,

    voltages, phase sequences everywhere,

whether all power commutations have been done right - in motor's contact box, and on contactors,

    check whether all contacts close,
whether contactors'coils are good: simply take off leads to motor, switch on, and test how they close.

Also, maybe the supply is poor and voltage at start drops too low.

it could just be an auxillary relay not making, also the auxillaries on older models were well known for "bouncing" which breaks the circuit for a split second and trips the chiller.

Hopefully the test with motor leads off will evince it.

Good afternoon,I am glad for your member.

    York chiller
    Model:YK EB EB H5 5C OE.
Fault : Oil Low differential pressure.

Work: After maintenance we are try to run this chiller but when switching then (after 50 seconds) showing above fault.

Also showing in Oil Sump parameter:-
    oil pressure 115 kpaD
oil sump temperature 50 deg. cel.
pump oil pressure (HOP) 565 kpaD
sump oil pressure (LOP) 513 kpaD.

    Please help us.

    Thanking you
    Anis.
