wrong compressor for a start, the embraco is a 34cc 1 1/2hp compressor. even on there 2 door freezer (garnet/sapphire/jade/zircon) the biggest they used is a Lunite 26cc.

    cheers

    Re: Williams Freezer

You're right about the compressor i just checked its a 34cc 1HP, much to big, as its only a single door, a 20cc would be big enough for that freezer, may be it is to big and its burnet itself out!

If the compressor did not start but just got hotter and hotter then it is seized (locked rotor), it must be going out on the klixon then.

Yes it was going out on the klixion, then after a while it was re-setting its self, what size compressor would you recomend for a 600Ltr single door freezer then, thanks for you're help.

    600L!!!!!!!!!! i was thinking a 26cc compressor for a 2 door!

one door compressor would be around 15 -18cc. the correct compressor for this cabinet is a lunite CAJ2428Z (15.2CC)
