    R410A Suction Pressures

With 410a heat pumps is there a recommended suction pressure. For example with R22 air-con systems I always aim for 400 suction and 1500 discharge and similar with 407c systems. I have been told to aim for round the 100 psi/700kpa mark with is about 0 degree C Was just curious for fault finding purposes.
    Cheers in advance,
    chris.

Pressure is not the right way to charge any system, regardless of refrigerant.

Um yeah, what do you mean "aim for". Pressure is relative to temperature, I wouldn't be aiming for 400kPa or 0C on a system thats running at 40C indoor temp for R22.
20K differential at air on temp is what it should be around, that means 400kPa at 20C indoor temp for R22. But even then you have pressure loss to factor in etc.
Pressure is a result of design and ambients, not something you "aim for" as a target. Pressure is even more useless these days with inverter a/cs.
