Our integrated fridge freezer doesn't seem to be keeping the fridge section as cold as it used to be.

The fridge also doesn't want to defrost itself anymore. The ice just keeps building up on the back wall of the compartment.

Is this likely to be a simple thermostat problem? or is it likely to be something more expensive and so heading towards buy a new one tiem?

It's a defrost control fault, could be a sensor or thermal cut out or defrost heater failed.Shoulsd be under the £100 mark.
