    Hi ,
For what you say i think that the system has to much refrigerant ,working with R404a and being a Freezer the suction should be around -28 to achive a room temperature of -20.
Try to recover some refrigerant or compressor is to small in capacity.

    Re: walk in freezer

I fitted the same comp on a freezer room this morning, I find that condensers always seem too small on R404a equipment in my opinion, is it a package like a Williams or a Foster or is it a traditional evaporator with a remote unit. If it was me I would first off blow the condenser out with my air compressor even if it does look clean, if this does not help resize the room and make sure the equipment is the correct size, if it is I would then reclaim all the gas, vac it out and recharge it the reason been someone could of "topped it up" and as it is a blend the make up is critical, it seems even more critical on low temperature applications from my experience.

An undersized compressor will have the same symptoms as an inefficient compressor (low head, high suction). I would be betting on overcharge.
