beko FF not freezing

hi folks, im new but it looks like the place for advice !

i have a 5 yr old beko FF model CA7015FF
the fridge is cold as is the freezer but the freezer is not freezing anything. it did refreeze some ice cubes yesterday but they have thawed again.

compressor runs quiet but hot to touch
condensor grid is warm at top of fridge / cool lower down.
i am based in s.wales. and advice / help apreciated , i dont really need a magor outlay at the moment !

Could be any number of things - defrost heater, defrost stat, defrost timer, evap fan, compressor etc etc. Is there frost build up in rear of freezer? Is the fan rotating (with doors shut)
