7 year old mondeo
anyone know what gas theyre on and where to put it in ?

I would think R134a at that age. Just follow the pipework till you get to a service connection. should have a sticker or such with refrigerant type somewhere, possibly the charge weight also.

R134a, the early Mondeos held 740gm, the new ones may of been 650gm. There are plenty of places to go in Stoke on Trent if you are not sure and no I am not self promoting, I dont touch cars anymore.

134A & suction port is above the plastic guard on drivers side wyng, take the wheel off then drop the guard you will find it is easier this way.

If it needs Gas, it's got a leak, so generaly shovin' more in aint the answer.

friend of mine has used 'leak stop'! but has not told me the outcome!
is that any good on cars?
hear its only any good if its leaking from the rubbers!
only asking because mine has a v v slow leak!
