USX Ultrasonic Leak Detector advice
hi my Javac Tek-Mate Leak detector has been smashed and i am looking at geting a new leak detector am intrested in the USX Ultrasonic Leak Detector but have never used one can some one who has used this leak detectror give me some advice is it worth the cash or should i stick with wat i know will it hear a system with a capillary on when the system is pressure equalizing as a leak and give me misleading results?? help all

Infrared absorption sensing cell is the right answer for next few years.

Yesturday the ultraviolet, today the infrared, tomorrow the ultrasonic....When will they come out with the reliable ?

I swear by my javac tekmate. This is a good leak detector if your are working with the common refrigerants, R22, R404a,R134a etc. Just make sure you replace the sensor and filters at least once a year.
