Parker Hannifin Corrision Resistant Valves

Has anyone had the opportunity to use any of Parkers new line of corrosion resistant valves? They are made of stainless steel and aluminum. Due to thickness of the walls they are only sold in SW and BW.

Nope, we have been using stainless steel for the pipe when it is cost-effective. This depends greatly on market prices for stainless. For the valves we just use the standard Hansen valves.

I think the piping is more important than the valves. It is near impossible to get a high quality insulation system installed. Since water will somehow find its way under the insulation, the pipe is almost always a more critical factor IMO.

I would also like to see vessels with a 300 MAWP and some corrosion allowance (because of the insulation issues).

They are just plated valves with Stainless trim. They finally came out with them because Hansen Tech was spanking them with their line. We have been using alot of the plated Danfoss valves which are cast steel instead of cast iron giving them 600psi rating and weigh less. The ICF and ICS are a very nice valve line. When coupled with their hand valve line, price is tough to beat.
