Strobe alarm light
Hi there,
Just recently qualified and have been put in charge of installing a new Carel 'PlantWatch Pro' control system for the revamped supermarket we have done.
My problem is I want to hook up a red light to an alarm relay on the Carel control, though I do not want a solid light. Anyone know of a relay I can get to make it flick on and off like your cars' indicator?

Re: Strobe alarm light
Just buy an alarm beacon, they are normally 'flashing' not solid light.
Something like these, from the UK RS Components site.

Re: Strobe alarm light
brian wins, they even incorporate a screamer not that you have to wire it in the only thing you may need is a power supply, compare what your light requires to rated output voltage of alarm relays.blue is pretty much standard in burglar alarms, have used a few for personel trapped alarms
