    Mitsubishi Alpha Controllers

We've just bought an Alpha 2 controller with the software etc. with a view to using these controllers on some of our more "involved" projects, i.e., AHU, DX cooling, Electric or LPHW heating, frost protection, filter monitoring, etc etc.

Loading up the software it says that no particular programming skills are required as everthing is visual and "drag & drop". Well, yes I agree about the drag & drop but what about understanding all the symbols such as "Gates" (And, Or, Nor, Nand etc), "Smitt triggers"(sp?), "Boolean", . Seems like a nightmare so far.

Anyone know of any links to worked examples? I understand control logic but struggle to write it

    HELP!

    Re: Mitsubishi Alpha Controllers

We used Crouzet Millenium and Logo of Siemens with good results, comparable products.

We twice threw out a PCB on a CIAT and Carrier and replaced it with a Siemens Logo.

On the sceen, there was a texct with the specific fault codes when soimethin happened and our number flashing for technical assistance.

My son will try to program a Crouzet to control any EEV. Crouzet has PID fucntion, GSM modules, 4-20 mA in/out, 0-10 V out.
