    Few Questions for a noob!

Have read the site T&C and have a few questions.

Is it against site rules to offer service to another member who would bennifit from them,

Eg ive see a post from a chap struggleing with some cellar cooling in london, and i work in london on cellar cooling. Would it be against site rules to lave a post saying

"Hi mate, I'm in london all next week and can squeeze in a visit to have a look at it for you if you want"
    ?

Also is it against site rules to set me companys name as my signature?

    Cheers,

    Greg

    Yes and no

If you droped them a PM and let them know once, that would be acceptable.
If you replied to all and sundry, touting for work that would be unacceptable.

Hi Greg and welcome to RE.

Adding your company name to your signature would be against the forum rules.

Sending a PM with what you said would be ok though.

    Thanks for asking first mate.

    Ah good stuff,

Can I PM right away or do I have to reach a post count?
