Carrier Transicold Zephyr 30s
I am working on an old Zephyr 30s with 3-phase ac. It's not mounted on a vehicle. The problem is that i can't find any documentation on the controller. Besides that, sometimes the defrost begings (i see a df in the screen of the controller) but it doesn't stop. During defrosting the inside fan stops rotating (as it should i guess) and the outside compressor keeps working. But i think there is no hot gas going into the evaporator (in order to defrost). As a result the defrosting process never stops.
Can anyone help me or point me to the right direction?

Re: Carrier Transicold Zephyr 30s
I don't think you mean a/c, you must be talking about an old chiller or freezer unit.
Q1. Has the unit got any gas in it
Q2. If it is hot gas defrost then is the solenoid valve for the hot gas lifting
Q3. What make is the controller
Q4. Are you sure it is not electric defrost

The zephyr 30s is a direct drive mono-temperature refrigerator from carrier

I'm checking the solenoid valve today with a technisian. I don't know the make of the controller. There is no label on it
