    Question Carrier Air Cooled Chiller

    Dear All,
We have 2 Carrier air cooled chillers 30 GTR070. both the units circuit B does not get commad to start from the processor board K5 relay. we presume the demand to start the other compressor is there as water temp is high. is their any configuration required, any help
    thanks in advance

However I do not know that Carrier, first that comes to mind is "system B off" on both chillers, maybe?

lowcool yes Circuit A compressors are working. circuit B compressors does not get command to start even though there is a demand for cooling. this is same for both chillers.

is the cooling demand output voltage from controller or indicator light, sounds like something either not commissioned properly or hi side coolling is not effective,im only a commercial fridgy and probably never seen what you got.sounds like this is first time problem, how old is plant.

    Re: Carrier Air Cooled Chiller

sounds to me as if this chiller was not commisioned properly either there is a dip switch not on/off or control not set up correctly. it looks like it does not know there is a circuit B. If you take off a hp or lp transducer see if that brings up a fault and it is comunicating to circuit B. if you put the control in LOCAL ON will it stage up all circuits?
