Freezer to chiller

I purchased a Foster NHR25U freezer from Ebay UK.

It was sold with the title Foster meat chill.

I purchased it to use it to hang deer for butchering,
It required a new door seal, when I sourced the new seal I was shocked to see that it was in fact a freezer rather than a chill.

Is there any way that an engineer can turn the freezer down to work as a chill, deer need to be hung at below
7 C, ideally between 1 & 2 degree C.

Any help would be gratefully appreciated.

start whit a new indoor thermostat,or temperature controller. this thing is on vacation,just cooling and no freezing.

you should replace the compressor as the one fitted would not be designed to run at medium temperature application.freezers usually attract a higher price so you may be better off selling this unit and purchase another for your desired application
