Lead wall isolation for split system

We intend to install a split - type air conditioner in the x - ray room of a hospital. The walls are insolated with a lead plaque to inhibit radiation leak.
Need some info about regulations concerning perforation of the wall for the brass connection tubes between the 2 parts of the equipment. Is a 3" hole safe regarding radiation loss when the x - ray machine operates?

Re: Lead wall isolation for split system

use a ducted system, have the ducting installed while the room is going in, should make no more of an impact than the electrical supplies or similar to the room.

i found some info on this site and google in regards to this.
