    New here, need help

    Hello from Oregon,
I'm building a house, and have what I consider to be an emergency. I had my rough in electrical inspection last week, and while I passed, the inspector didn't pass the SOOW cord that came with my Daikin line sets. I'll have two heat pumps and eight indoor wall units. The inspector said this is the first time he is calling out this issue, and had a statement from the NEC regarding mini split system wiring not being suitable for in wall use. Has anyone run into this issue yet, and what solutions are there? My heating folks don't really know what to do, but have called the head state electrical inspector hoping for a better judgment.

I don't know for your country, but here "in-wall" installations must be in conduits.
