Mcquay ALS screw faults

we are working on a als series chiller one of the compressors keeps tripping on no liquid run fault i have been able to get a little info on a gate failure problem but where is the gate that keep fails or does any one know where i could get some info on the compressors to troubleshoot the gate if to see if this might be where the problem is

The gate they are talking about is the star gate and that is inside the compressor and im afraid its a new compressor.
