    Question R34M Refrigerant.

    Hi, guys.....

I'm wondering if anyone has heard of R34M refrigerant and if you could provide links to mollier and pt charts for this refrigerant.

I came across a cool room labeled with this refrigerant today.

    Please help.

    Re: R34M Refrigerant.

    Thanks Temprite.

I checked all the pt charts I have including my actrol one and didn't find it any where. I recovered the cool room system and regased with sp34e because I couldn't be 100% certain if it was mineral or POE oil in the system.

It looks like an interesting refrigerant and know why this particular room used this refrigerant now.

Anyway I've quoted for a retrofit with capillary change and minor mods to this cool room. It has a few major issues with it's performance due to the application it's now used for and the, dare I say, Cowbay nature of the original installation.

Thanks again guys. The world is a much better place thanks to REFRIGERATION-ENGINEER.COM
