Fan motor optimisation

Dear All,

Can you all please provide me literature or selection tool of fan motor for Heat exchangers in Refrigeration system as i want to know how the fan motor selection is done for optimising the REF system performance.

A wide subject to generalise, but I think you would have to start with the physical size of fan blade that the condenser can accept, and then work back knowing the airflow you require to the motor power required to achieve that airflow.

Possibly also think along lines of a Variable Speed Drive to achieve fine control of conditions.

The fan motor should be selected to match the fan blade that has been selected to provide the correct airflow.

This applies to any air movement system not just refrigeration/air conditioning.
