i would have a guess at cheep domestic unit that has flooded the market of late

I was told it was a Toshiba, but e-mailed them and they have not heard of that model number.

it looks like a imported domestic unit like a diy store special,it probably made by a well known manufacture and badge up differently as lets face most of it all come off the same production line

spare parts will be a nightmare along with back up,came across a few on a site we look after and just ripped them out

Hi Lucas,

It's one of the chinese manufacturers who put "Powered by Toshiba" on the outdoor unit.

Hence everyone one thinks they are a Toshiba product.

All they do is use a Toshiba compressor, so that's why they say powered by.......

Also why Toshiba can't help.

Good luck finding any support \ spare back up.

the 36w means is is a Chinese Gree thing of the KRP-36W variety
