Oil Sump Temp
Is there a prefered temp to maintain the oil sump on a Mycom L series compressor ?

Not sure if you mean when running or when off .
If off sump heater on and if has thermostat set it to about 100 - 110 deg F or 35 - 45 deg C
When comp on about 120 deg F and high oil temp cut out set 150 deg F
Should have good water flow through oil cooler and heads . If oil cooler water side blocks up it will affect everything , as heads generate more heat too .

Just to add minimum oil temp when running should be warm to touch , sump and oil lines .
Suggest about 80 deg F and oil not foaming . Also oil temp should be approx 20 deg F above saturated suction pressure / temp .

Minimum oil temperature 30°C, the maximum oil temperature 50°C
