You don't have need for "master" in cool only, since there is no cool/heat mode switching, and therefore, no possibility of conflicting commands.

    Thanks for reply!
    But I have a question:
    - heatpupm (3mode): heat , cool, fan.
    - cooling(2 mode): cool, fan.
When i want to run the system in the fan mode that i chance it by master of indoor.

    Hello
There's no problem to change from cool, dry or fan mode but if you really want to set a master indoor do the code 22 / 9.01 to 9.02 this could be helpfull for other dear RE member....

    Hi,
If you power the system down and then back up again the first controller to have the mode button pressed becomes the master.

    Cheers

    thuydsc,

On cooling only VRV systems you can’t select a cool heat master. The outdoor unit is in cooling mode at all times. You can select each indoor unit between cool, fan and dry modes but this is only by the remote controller.

You could try to link the terminals C and B on the outdoor terminals which may switch the entire system to fan only. I have not tried this on a cooling only myself, but it might work.

    Good luck
