Water cooling condensers
Greetings to all !! As we all know the world is turning to " Green " solutions. My question is about water cooled condensers and trying to eliminate excess heat from air cooled coils. Has anyone tried using self contained glycol bath condensers ...the type used for beer lines....and running water cooled 1/3 and 1/2 hp standard condensers with the glycol as the cooling agent? I have several situations where buildings do not have recirculating towers and city regulations don't allow " clean water in...clean water out " water cooled units. Thought about using 1 hp glycol unit [air cooled] to supply chilled solution to run 2-4 smaller water cooled condensers. Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated. The inspectors don't go for the old " grandfathered in " changeout anymore. Thanks and have a good day!!!
Don't leave it like you found it.....Leave it like it should be !!!
