Bosch fridge freezer - fridge strange behaviour

    Hi - any help appreciated

I have a Bosch Lgoxx fridge freezer, KGU32121GB. A few weeks ago I started to notice ice forming on the floor of the freezer section. Which I assume is because some drainage channel has become blocked. I've tried to unblock this by turning off the unit, in case it's blocked by ice. This didn't work and so I'm arranging for my neighbour to look after my frozen food so I can try again.

In the meantime I now have a problem with the fridge section. Although the freezer still keeps to its set temperature, the fridge started to warm up. If the fridge is set to 6 degrees then it keeps to that temp. But if the temp is set to 4 degrees, then it warms up to room temp. I don't understand why it acts differently when the temp is set at 4 or 6 degrees.

Any ideas anyone? And will my defrosting the unit solve the fridge's erratic behaviour?

    Thanks in advance.

    Geoff
