changing refrigerant
I would like to change R134a with R407 in my opel frontera will the system work better or worse can anyone tell

You want to change to a drop in for R-22, no not what ever, the condenser would be too small the compressor would fly apart and your fuel usage would go out the window.
If you require a colder vehicle, buy a chiller truck and freeze to the steering wheel.

If you would read the operator manual with this vehicle it should tell you to use the re-circulated air button for maximum performance. [ so you are not trying to cool the local area ] go for fresh air occassionally to re-fresh the air in your vehicle.
